After the harvest there is work to do, but I am not that busy anymore. I am doing it all by myself. Next year I will change the vineyard growing schedule, so I need to adapt a greenhouse to be able to close the sides, set up a heater and improve the irrigation system. It takes some time and it is expensive. However, it will be worth it.

Now weather is very fresh and bright, even with mosquitoes. It feels good to work in the greenhouse. Autumn feels really strong. Cold mornings and evenings, warm days, bright noons. Colors change, leaves die, emotions change and die too; but spring will come and it will bring new green leaves, new emotions, feelings, new joy. New rithms, voices; Camila Cabello – Havana.

出雲市のブドウ農家で体験をしている研修生に会いました。研修生が長野県から来ました。佐田町から引っ越すの予定でしたから、僕も手伝いました。３人で大き電化製品を運びました。昼頃に終わりまして、多伎町にある店にお食事に行きました。料理が美味しかったで海もきれいでした。久しぶりにハヤシライスを食べました。

長野県のほうが果樹が多いですが、なせ島根県でブドウを作りたい？と研修生に聞きました。島根県からのほうが応募の返事が来ましたから、島根県で農業を決めました。来年５月から研修が始まります。Check it out! Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers I Won’t Back Down.

9月上旬にぽんぽん船さんの祭に行きました。ぽんぽん船さんは今年もブドウ栽培の作業を手伝ってくれました。ほかのブドウ農家と一緒祭でお昼ごはんを食べに行く予定でした、その日まだ収穫作業がありました。いつも元気で大好きなMさんが案内をしてくれまして、美味しいそう燻製サバサンドイッチを買う時にテレビ取材中でした。レポーターが声を掛けまして、僕が出雲人でブドウ農家ですと言いました   ハッハッハ  :- )。数日後レポーターから連絡がありました。全然練習なしでも楽しかったです。放送は10月12日18時15分で日本海テレビの地方ニュースの番組です。

僕の好きなロックバンドの1つはJethro Tullです。のこバンドは、18世紀の農業者、Viscount Jethro Tullにちなんで命名されました。あなたヘHeavy Horses のアルバムの Acres Wild。

今年の収穫は去年より1ヶ月長かったです、8月に天気がママでしたし、畑の状態も多少変わりました、でも、良かったです。ありがとうございました。今も来年の栽培計画を立てながら、消毒と網の片付けをしています。ハウスの準備は時間が掛かりそうです。

Friends came over during the weekend. Nick, from Australia, and his four year old son Liam live in Tokyo; they came for a holiday in Shimane. Nicola from New Zealand, and her husband who live in Oki Islands came to meet Nick too. We all had lunch in Taisha and then coffee and tea at our place. My wife made a vegan tofu prune cake for our friends. The cake looked very good, but it was only OK.

My son Simón and I made that vegan tofu prune cake for his 5th birthday, because he was allergic to wheat and milk. We covered it with icing and put lots of jelly beans on top. It was really good and we had a great time making it also. Now I think we just were lucky. On the other hand, sometimes things in life seem better than they really are.

ブドウ調整の時にシャインマスカットの粒が多く残ります。良い粒は商品になる可能性が多いけど、キズ粒等はうちでもいらなくなる。シャインマスカットの干しブドウが見った事がありますが、でもあまり良くなかったです。今年はいずもえんさんが干しブドウの作る事を考えました。いずもえんさんが大型の乾燥機を使って色んなドライフルーツの作る経験がありました。それから、干しブドウを真空パックも入れました。

9月29日から10月2日まで出雲市の文化伝承館ではイベントがあります。その時にいずもえんさんが作ったのエドガーのぶどう畑のシャインマスカットの干しブドウと他のもを買うことができます。美味しいですよ！

そろそろ収穫が終わります、10月上旬まで多少シャインマスカットがあります。

今年は出雲市西園町にある福祉施設いずもえんさんは作業場ではブドウ調整作業を手伝っていました。畑で収穫をしたブドウは房掃除から袋詰めの作業を手伝ってくれました。ありがとうございました。今回始めてシャインマスカットの干しブドウも作りました、美味しかったです。これからいずもえんさんと一緒に色んな活動をすることも考えています。生後6ヶ月の秋田犬イズエンモンがいます。いずもえんさんのホームページはこちらです。

島根県出雲市のブドウ農家で1ヶ月間の研修のために東京都農林水産署の方が来ました。ちょうど忙しい時に僕の収穫にも手伝ってくれました。

台風18号が来る前に一緒に収穫をして、それから、作業場で房掃除、選別、袋詰め、等を体験しました。とても上手でした。幸いにも畑では台風18号の被害がありませんでした。収穫が大分終わりました。今年は順調です。

When we have guests meals are better and the house is cleaner. I am sure it happens everywhere, so I like when people come over. Recently, Brad (not his real name, just joking) came for lunch on Sunday. Brad is from the US and had been to Spain for studying, so he speaks Spanish too.

Brad was interested in speaking Spanish and seen the grapes I grow. During the summer in Spain he worked picking grapes and doing other farming work. It was nice to speak Spanish and some English too. For a change, the meal was not colombian food. My kids say that whenever we have guests we have colombian style kidney beans. However, this time it was a new dish for me too. The dish my wife made was moussaka, an eggplant and potatoes baked dish with ground meat. It was very good.

Brad also went to where I pack the grapes and said he had never seen such big berry table grapes. Shine muscat, the grapes I grow, are japanese green seedless table grapes only grown in Japan, as far as I know.
