これからの作業はハウスの事、防除と土壌改良です。防除の前は谷の網を片付け、それから谷を閉じます。今日は加温栽培のハウスの網を方付けました。週末は雨と台風が来る、来週の良い天気の日に防除をしたいんです。

‘In The Blue Light’ is the new album from Paul Simon. It has new versions of old songs, mainly jazz verions. I like ‘Can’t Run But’.

9月29日に収穫が終わりました。台風24号は心配です。今年は変な天気でした、春は暑かったです。コロンビアでも、世界中でも天気が変わっています。ぶどうの生理障害が出ましたけど、今年はまま良かったです。

This week the weather is much better. I am glad for it, and the grapevines too. Grapevines love sunshine!!

A few days ago I came across a new version of an album from one of my favorite bands, ‘Heavy Horses’ by Jethro Tull. It plays awesome in my new bluetooth speaker. Listen for yourself!

天気になってほしい！最近雨と曇天気が多いです。収穫は後400kgぐらい残っています。４アールの雨よけのハウスの編が穴が開いた、側にある木からつるで直した。穴が鳥が入るぐらいの大きさでした。

今は雨よけ栽培のブドウを収穫をしています。５アールのブドウハウスは日本海から400ｍぐらい離れています。収穫をしている時にカニを見ました。初めて赤いカニを見ました。

今年の収穫は9月いっぱい掛かるそうです。最近一人で出荷作業をしています、急ぐことはないです。でも雨が降ると時間は長くなります。今日は4番目のハウスのブドウを収穫しました。房に新聞紙の傘を掛けました。8月はとても暑く日光は多かったです、ですからブドウはとても美味しい。雨の時アマガエルは木を登ります。

I recently bought a portable speaker maily for my work packing the grapes. During August I got help and I usually harvested 180 kg per day. But now there is no hurry to pick the grapes, so I work alone while listening to music. I plan to harvest about 100 kg each day, and there is one third of the grapes to harvest, maybe 1 ton. So it is going to take a while.

Twenty years ago, when first I came to Japan for a masters in Geology, I got my self a MD player and also portable speaker that I used during harvest until last year, and it still works. I threw away the MD player when we moved last year.

I am pretty happy with the sound for the cost of the speaker. I also have a free Spotify subscription and I can use both the ipod and my phone. Easyly go back in time,  Domindo Dancing  by Pet Shop Boys.

８月末に3番目のハウスのブドウの収穫が始まりました。今年は5年生の樹です、良い房が出来ました。

週末は娘が作業場で手伝ってもらいました。

美味しい新鮮なブドウを心を込めて農園から直接お届けします。

Few days before end of summer vacation, my son spent the day with me and helped too. Before that my kids stayed with their grandparents during the weekdays, coming home for the weekends.

Today my son and I went to check the irrigation system in two greenhouses, we also gave some grapes to friends. Then we took some grapes to a farmer’s market. There we put labels and left them on the shelf. Many times there are grapes left after packing for the local cooperative. Last year also my son helped during harvest.

My son likes fishing, so then we went to a couple of shops and he bought some bait and did lots of window shopping.
